Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project

Overview

Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project's mission is to develop and implement techniques that recover Maui's endangered forest birds. We focus on recovering the Kiwikiu. In addition to our avian research, we are restoring forest on leeward Maui in order to establish a second-population of Kiwikiu.
