Our Citizen Forester Program
is expanding to Kauaʻi!
Our award-winning volunteer program trains, educates and certifies community members as citizen scientists to collect urban tree inventory data. The Citizen Forester program is a collaborative project of federal, state, and city partners and was piloted on the island of Oʻahu in 2016.
After much success over the past 2 years, we are excited to begin our program expansion this November to Kauaʻi in an effort to create an urban tree inventory for our entire Island State!
