Waimānalo Bay
We invite you to participate in the Waimānalo Limu Hui's Lā Limu initiative, where you can help with the active restoration of limu in Waimānalo Bay. This is a monthly event where limu lei are woven and out planted to revive the nearshore ecosystem and reestablish the once abundant supply of limu. Come down and learn about limu.
Limu restoration work is done at Kaiona Beach Park in Waimanalo and begins promptly at 8 am. Being your reusable water bottle, mess kit, reef safe sunscreen, tabis or old shoes.
