Mt. Kaʻala

We will be controlling non-native Sphagnum moss along the board walk of the Kaʻala bog. Mt. Kaʻala is the highest point of Oʻahu, its elevation creates a unique ecosystem protecting Hawaiian plants and animals, most found only in Hawai‘i, and some very rare. This will be a beautiful low impact day with great views and good company. Meeting place will be at Waialua district park.
