Hawaii Wildfire Management Organization
Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:00am - 12:00pm
Waikoloa Dryland Wildfire Safety Park - End of Melia St. in Waikoloa Village
Swing by the Waikoloa Dryland Wildfire Safety Park from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 22nd to help us beautify the Firewise demonstration garden at the end of Melia Street.
October is also Fire Prevention Month so what better time to get plugged in to Hawaii's only wildfire education garden? Volunteering at the garden is a fun and valuable way to learn about and contribute to wildfire safety.
Bring your friends and ʻohana!
If you are able to join, please bring: hat, sunscreen, water bottle, work gloves (if possible), and extra gardening equipment (i.e. trowels and pruners, if possible). We will provide some snacks, but if you can bring something to share, as well, we would greatly appreciate that.
Mahalo and hope to see you there!
