Mālama Maunalua
Friday, February 12, 2016 from 9:00am - 12:00pm
Paiko Beach (Meet at Kuliouou Beach Park)
Malama Maunalua's community hukis are volunteer based events that bring the community together in order to restore the health of Maunalua Bay. Volunteers learn about our organization, the problems facing the Bay, as well as the three main types of invasive alien algae. On average, about 50 volunteers per event come out to the Bay to help us remove invasive alien algae. Request to schedule a community huki!
*Attend four community hukis with us within a calendar year and win a free Mālama Maunalua gift!
