Join 808 CLEANUPS for our monthly stewardship work at Mokulēʻia Army Beach!
OPEN TO: General Public. Kid Friendly all ages.
HOW TO JOIN: Please have each participant sign the online waiver here: https://808cleanups.org/waiver/
Then just show up no later than the event start time!
WHERE: (See location pin with coordinates) - Mokulēʻia Army Beach directly across from Dillingham Field Glider Port/General Public entrance. Mokulēʻia Army Beach is NOT the Mokulēʻia Beach Park with large grass field and paved parking loop- drive another few minutes past this park and look for large concrete barricades and dirt parking area on the oceanside.
WHAT: 1) Removing pallet bonfires, illegal dumping and litter. 2) Invasive plant removals.
WHAT WE SUPPLY: All cleanup supplies and tools
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Plenty of water and sun protection. Recommended: Sturdy, closed shoes.
SCHOOL/SERVICE HOURS: We DO sign your hours- must arrive PROMPTLY and work DILIGENTLY during entire two hours to receive full credit.
ADOPT A SITE Support: After the cleanup, you'll have the opportunity to get oriented in our Adopt a Site program. We'll discuss how to get involved, areas that need help, and you'll receive supplies to get you started right then and there!
