Paumalū (Sunset Beach Park) Dune Restoration Volunteer Workday

North Shore Community Land Trust has worked with the City & County of Honolulu, State of Hawaiʻi, World Surf League, University of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant, North Shore Outdoor Circle and other community partners to actively steward Paumalū (Sunset Beach Park) since 2018 when severe erosion threatened the beach. Join us for to help mālama (care for) this special place! Stewardship activities include native out-planting, fence repair and construction, and plant watering and maintenance. 

Please bring:

- Reef-safe sun protection (hat, sunscreen, rash guard etc.)

- A reusable water bottle with plenty of water

We will provide:

- Snacks

- Water refills

- Gloves

- Tools 

Meet on the ma kai side of the street at Sunset Beach by 9 a.m. to check in. Everyone is welcome and there are activities for all ages. Mahalo!
