Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

North Shore Community Land Trust has worked with the City & County of Honolulu, State of Hawaiʻi, World Surf League, University of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant, North Shore Outdoor Circle and other community partners to actively steward Paumalū (Sunset Beach Park) since summer 2018 when severe erosion threatened the beach. Join us for three community workdays in summer 2019 to help mālama (care for) this special place! Stewardship activities include native out-planting, fence repair and construction, and plant watering and maintenance. Snacks, water refills, gloves and tools are provided. Please bring reef-friendly sun protection and a reusable water bottle. Meet on the ma kai side of the street at Sunset Beach by 9 a.m. to check in. Everyone is welcome. Mahalo!
