POSITION TITLE: Landscape Maintenance Student Assistant

PAY RATE: $11.95/hr WORK SCHEDULE: Flexible, M-Sat (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

QUALIFICATIONS/DUTIES: Good attitude, dependable, caring, conscientious, thorough, able to get along well with people, self-motivating but follows instructions well, must like physical outdoor work. Takes pride in being a steward of nature. Able to learn to differentiate between wanted plants and weeds. Able to use (after instruction) lawn mowers and weed-whackers. Able to negotiate steep terrain under wet, slippery conditions. Primary responsibility involves weeding and land clearing. Care for the grounds, weeding, pruning, thinning, edging, lawn mowing, and path construction. Other duties as assigned. Must be enrolled as a student and qualify for FWS. File FAFSA to see if you qualify.

LOCATION: 3860 Manoa Road, Honolulu HI 96822 (Located in the back of Manoa Valley, 2.5 miles, uphill, from campus.) Must provide own transportation to this off-campus site.
