Local Iʻa Community Supported Fishery, a social and environmental impact enterprise, sources and distributes sustainable seafood for members and seafood retailers. We seek an individual that understands and believes in our mission, and our focus on sustainable seafood that is good for our environment, our fishermen, and our communities. The role of the Seafood Processor and Coordinator is to clean, portion, and package seafood for delivery, and to aid in coordination tasks including delivery, organization, and operations. Local I‘a offers a range of sustainable seafood, including (but not limited to), pelagic species including large tunas and billfish, reef fish, shellfish, and limu. The Seafood Processor and Coordinator may be asked to help assist the Operations Manager with pick up and deliveries, as well as other tasks related to operations.
