Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

Aloha! The Hawaiʻi Youth Climate Coalition (HYCC) is an entirely youth-run climate justice organization. As an organization, we put together strikes, rallies, and educational events (collectively known as "actions") where we advocate for the planet. Climate actions can be anything from banning single-use plastic (like Bill 40) to organizing rallies about climate change (like Sept. 20th's climate rallies). Our organization is run entirely by youth (college age or lower) who care about our world and seek to make it a better, more just place for everyone.

One of the newest HYCC programs is the Club Network. The Club Network seeks to help students in Hawaiʻi build and maintain sustainable, impactful, and meaningful environmental/civic school clubs. We serve as a hub for the clubs by providing the support they need. Specifically, the Club Network provides peer learning, customized resources, connections to other local school clubs, and updates about community climate + civic events. More details about the Club Network can be found here: https://www.thehycc.org/clubnetwork

With that, we are thrilled to announce that we are expanding the HYCC team to include the Club Network program! HYCC is offering up to two part-time paid positions of up to *$4,000 to youth who want to lead and grow the Club Network program.
