Qualifications

Good organization, communication & writing skills. Familiar w/campus resources. Willing to do presentations for audiences. Must have a year's experience as a peer advisor, be fully certified in college / school requirements and be able to work independently. 
 

Duties

With minimal supervision, advise students in basic General Education, degree and major requirements. Help students to clarify educational & potential career goals in light of their abilities, interests and goals. Assist basic, limited groups of students in fulfilling their mandatory advising requirement. Provide information about other pertinent resources on campus. Facilitate workshops, and sessions. Speak to high school & college students about college experiences. Other duties as assigned.
