Voices In The Garden: A Playshop for Children in Nature

Voices In Nature is committed to guiding children and youth to:

• Develop an appreciation for and a harmonious relationship with the natural world that promotes respect for all life
• Understand the natural world as a personal resource for reflection, health, and enjoyment
• Enjoy social and emotional well-being through mindfulness and expressive arts
• Share artistic expression inspired by observation and experience
• Develop and apply fine/gross motor skills
• Expand awareness in nature

Join us on Saturday, December 15th 2018 from 9:00am-11:30am for a day of fun in nature. REGISTER EARLY! Enrollment is limited. For children ages 5-9, $35 per child. Supplies included.

We will explore the following:

• Mindfulness, art, music and movement
• Value-based education
• Learning about native plants
• Cultivating compassion for self, other and the planet
