In June 2017, Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance and Foundation adopted a 10 x 10 plot in Maunalua Bay in an effort to help remove invasive algae from the bay. Join us on our "Laulima at Maunalua Bay" workdays to remove as much invasive algae as possible from our plot and surrounding area. So far weʻve collected over 800 lbs! Thank you Microsoft Ala Moana and Kona Brewing Company for being our major supporters in maintaining our plot to help restore Maunalua Bay to its native habitat.

Please arrive at 8:00 AM. We will end around 11:30 AM

Where:

Please meet at Kuliouou Beach Park at 100 Bay St. Honolulu, HI 96821. You can find us set up at one of the concrete picnic tables.

• Hat
• Sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Clothes that can get wet
• Towel
• Preferred water footwear (we will have tabis and work gloves available to use)
• Change of clothes
