Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

We are thrilled to invite you, your company or ʻohana to our 16th Anniversary Lau Kupu Day on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Lau Kupu Day is not just a celebration; it's an annual workday event where Kupu strives to strengthen our bond with the community through a day of service and dedicated support for our youth. This year, we are partnering with Papahana Kuaola to host Lau Kupu Day, and we have some inspiring projects lined up:

Loʻi Kalo Restoration: We will be relocating soil from a settlement pond to prepare the loʻi for planting and eliminating invasive weeds to support the health and abundance of loʻi kalo.

Hawaiian Plant Restoration: Join us in mālama (caring for) rare native Hawaiian plant and tree species at Waipao. We'll be removing invasive weeds, laying mulch, and planting new trees.

Mālama Kahawai: Help us care for the health of Haʻiku Stream, a vital natural resource in our community.

RSVP here by October 18th, 2023.
