Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Teacher’s Workshop

It is humpback whale season in Hawaii! Come participate in hands on activities you can use in your classroom to teach your students about these awesome creatures. Learn about the life and times and the biology as we draw the whales to scale, the migrations, unique feeding strategies and impacts they face. We will also look at current research and efforts to protect them.
