Join us for an Interactive Talk and learn about the problem of Marine Debris in the Remote North Western Hawaiian Islands and its impact on Hawaii’s Ecosystem.
Kristen Kelly, State of Hawaii Division of Aquatic Resources - Marine Wildlife Program, and Kīlauea Point Natural History Association have teamed up in celebration of World Oceans Day 2019 with a special presentation on marine debris in the uninhabited North Western Hawaiian Islands and its impacts to the wildlife in the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
The talk will focus on innovative solutions and legislation needed to combat human wastefulness. Please join us to help come up with achievable solutions, become inspired to change how you live and help motivate those around you.
