Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

Sarah J. Leicht Severino, M.Sc., Research Assistant, Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology, Coral Reef Ecology Lab

Coral Reef Assessment and Monitoring (CRAMP) sites are located on reefs throughout the Main Hawaiian Islands, and have been monitored periodically since the year 1997. In this talk, we will discuss how the CRAMP sites on Oahu have changed throughout the years and take a closer look into those heavily influenced by human interaction. We will then discuss how these sites compare to the most heavily snorkeled reef in the Main Hawaiian Islands, Hanauma Bay, Oahu HI.
