Join us in Kihei, Maui on Thursday 5/30/2019 for a special training on citizen science connected to rising sea levels, King Tides, and wave run-up!
Join the University of Hawaii Sea Grant College Program and PacIOOS on Thursday, May 30 from 5-7pm at the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center for a special Citizen Scientists Training Session. Participants will learn more about rising sea levels, King Tides, and wave run-up. You will also find out how to help document associated impacts along the shoreline of West Maui. Become part of this crowd-sourced citizen science effort to capture impacts, changes, and inform the development of a new wave run-up forecast specifically for West Maui. Please help spread the word!
