Hawaiians are connected by our history, language, culture and mana of our ancestors, and storied places. Our mele is a repository of kauna or hidden meaning of Hawaiʻi’s most heartfelt emotions and thoughts of our Lāhui.
Join us for a FREE Aloha ʻĀina, ʻĀina Aloha Mele Workshop series across Oʻahu, as we learn from Hinaleimoana “Kumu Hina” Wong about how Hawaiian perspectives impact the mele that we sing, dance and chant in honor of our beloved land.
