Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Maui Ocean Center
The Sea Talk will discuss the ongoing efforts by Maui residents to use the Clean Water Act to protect coral reefs from harmful pollution associated with Maui County’s use of injection wells at the Lahaina Wastewater Reclamation Facility, which discharge millions of gallons of treated sewage each day into the nearshore marine waters off Kahekili Beach Park in West Maui. The Supreme Court will take up the case this fall.
