Looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of conservation? Kupu's Extended Internship Program (EIP), under the Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps (HYCC) offers young adults the opportunity to participate in a 10-11 month internship with an environmental agency that best fits their interests. The EIP is designed for those looking to gain entry-level work experience in the fields of terrestrial conservation, marine conservation, environmental research, and/or community outreach. EIP members receive a monthly living allowance of up to $1,300, and upon successful completion of the program, receive a $5,550 AmeriCorps educational award.
