Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

Kupu is a non-profit that provides environmental and sustainability-related internships to youth and adults across the state of Hawaii. We are currently accepting applications for our outdoor summer 2015 Gateway program, and we are reaching out to college faculty in relevant fields in hopes that you may be interested in sharing the program with your students and/or teacher network. Any questions may be directed to outreach@kupuhawaii.org. About The Gateway Program: Kupu’s summer Gateway Program provides participants with a 7-week long experience in hands-on environmental education and teaches them valuable teamwork, cultural and life skills. Participants have the chance to work in some of the most remote and beautiful landscapes across Hawaii (including Kaho’olawe), while earning money to support their future endeavors and higher education.
