Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: This unpaid internship will focus on reef restoration. Interns will work together to conduct field work, monitoring, and test reef restoration techniques at selected sites. Interns will share results from field work and analysis with various stakeholder groups, such as local natural resource management agency partners and/or at public community events.

Interns will:

  • Gain valuable field skills and work experience in marine conservation
  • Receive training in water safety and field techniques for reef restoration
  • Increase science communication skills and understanding of coral reef issues
