Conservation Leadership Development Program (CLDP) creates rigorous entry-level opportunities for young professionals that want to commit to a career in conservation. Participants are placed at an environmental organization for about 11 months where they assist with projects that equip them with skills and leadership opportunities to move ahead in their career.

 
This program is best suited for youth aged 17 and above.  Applicants must be comfortable in outdoor environments, and be able to perform physically demanding duties.
 
This position is offered with the United States Forest Service's Resource Assistants Program (RAP). RAP is a rigorous and immersive paid internship for individuals interested in Forest Service careers. Resource assistants work under the supervision of Forest Service staff to complete mission-critical work that demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and strategic communication.  Through collaboration, training, and mentorship, resource assistants gain the tools to launch their natural and cultural resource careers.  Please read the Position Description in the hyperlink below for more details.
