Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

We are offering an eight week internship this summer. It is a 16-hour a week internship and will provide six interns (ages 16-24) a unique opportunity to work outdoors and learn skills important to restore, maintain, and manage a fishpond. If you enjoy learning by doing physical work, then this is the internship for you!! Here are the specifics:

Location: Heʻeia Fishpond
Start Date: Monday June 3, 2019
End Date: Friday July 26, 2019
Workday: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday
Hours: 9am to 1pm
Hourly pay: $11 per hour
Applications must be hand delivered to our office or post marked by May 3, 2019 to be considered. Applications must be at least 16 years of age and must be available for the duration of the internship on the days and times specified above. Interviews for top applicants will be scheduled on May 11, 2019 and selected interns will be notified by May 22, 2019. Applicants do not have to be enrolled in college to apply. Good luck!!
