								 								 	The Kohala Center seeks an experienced, detail-oriented, administrative professional to manage the organization’s grants, proposal submission, and reporting processes. In addition, this position will maintain the organization’s contact and donor database, providing assistance with outreach and communications. The ideal candidate can be described as follows:
	- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and disseminate diverse written requirements for deliverables, reports and milestones on a grant-by-grant basis
- Ability to identify and implement process and systems improvements and large-scale control and governance initiatives
- Knowledge of maintaining credentials and passwords to access moderate number of internet sites needed to conduct routine business with funding agencies
- Excellent interpersonal, computer, verbal, and written communications skills
- Ability to interact positively with a variety of people by email, telephone and in person
- Diplomacy and good judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Two years’ experience in an administrative position that requires anticipating the needs of executives and their programs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
