(2) Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR) performing project tasks on land controlled by the U.S. Army Garrison, Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Office, Natural Resources Section on the island of Oahu, Hawai‘i. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.

MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY: $2,372/Mon.

DUTIES: Implements natural resource management in the field including but not limited to rare species monitoring, identification, collections and reintroduction (plants and animals), mapping using Global Positioning System (GPS), and threat control (weeds, rodents and ungulates). Implements office and field work designed and planned by the Natural Resource Management (NRM) staff and Natural Resources Management Coordinators such as, but not limited to: implementing field work (e.g. monitoring, surveying, fencing, etc.); assisting in scheduling, planning, logistics, and documenting day-to-day field work; recording and analyzing field data using computer aided programs. Works in areas with Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) with professional Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) supervision. This is a progressive job group, which allows for entry and possible promotion through experience and demonstrated competence based on established competency matrix.
