Examine land titles by searching public records, examining legal documents, and summarizing and recording pertinent information from these documents that are essential to determining ownership and condition of title to land subject to acquisition by the State; prepare worksheets showing the history of the title and all encumbrances, restrictions and covenants affecting the titles; review land transaction documents for purposes of indexing information reflecting changes in land ownership or land titles; and perform other related duties as assigned.
