This position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing a district multiple-use forestry and wildlife management program. Under the general supervision of the Forestry and Wildlife Administrator, this position provides supervision, program development and direction, review and coordination of the various activities in the assigned district. This position is also expected to develop and recommend cooperative agreements, policies, procedures, rules, regulations and legislation relative to the statewide forestry and wildlife program and serves as a representative of the State Forestry and Wildlife Program in their respective district and develops and maintains contacts and cooperative working relationships with local, State and federal agencies, private individuals and organizations.
