Kupu Ka’ala Team Leader (based in Nānākuli, on Oʻahu) Kupu (www.kupuhawaii.org) is seeking a full-time team leader to work with a group of young adults ages 16-24 (and a co-leader) in Oahu’s Leeward coast communities, helping to facilitate, supervise, mentor and transport participants during program activities such as: environmental field work and other green job service projects, Hawaiian cultural activities, educational field trips, and workshops and classes in life skills and job readiness. The team leader will also be responsible for helping coordinate logistics, communicating with partner agencies, assisting with the member enrollment and exit process, tracking attendance and alumni, collecting other data to demonstrate program impact, and other duties as assigned. The contract position runs from December 2015 (asap) until August 2016, with possible extension for another year pending performance review. Must be 21 years or older, with valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, be a US Citizen, US National, or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien, and meet the physical, behavioral and background check requirements outlined in the full job description.
