Information and Education Specialist

The position provides media outreach and public information coordination for all Ecological Services activities in the Pacific, including endangered species, habitat conservation, coral reef conservation, invasive species, and environmental contaminants. The incumbent serves as adviser to the Field Supervisor and Deputy Field Supervisors, as well as other members of the senior management staff on appropriate public involvement strategies and outreach, community relations, internal and external information programs, media coordination, and development of public awareness and education program and materials.
