Resource Forester III (Maui) - Individually or as a team leader, plan and carry out systematic forest resource surveys and inventories; develop plans for recreation sites; evaluate forest fire hazards; cruise tracts of timber prior to release for sale; assemble appraisal data; survey boundaries; check on trespass on State lands; lay out trails and timber roads; conduct administrative studies; work with watershed partnerships to carry out management objectives, may direct the work of lower level professional and non-professional forestry workers; and perform other related duties as assigned.
