Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve Job/Position Title: Watershed Field Technician II Department: Pu`u Kukui Watershed Watershed Field Technician II The Watershed Field Technician II is responsible for preservation, conservation and maintenance of plantation watershed capacities and natural resources. This is accomplished by involvement in programs of feral ungulate control, weed control, small mammal & invertebrate control, public (e.g. hunter) awareness & access, research and monitoring. The Watershed Field Technician II prepares for and completes overnight field trips to accomplish work goals set by the Watershed Supervisor throughout the year in accordance with the Watershed Management Plan. The Watershed Field Technician II works closely with the Watershed Supervisor and/or other Watershed Field Technician(s) to implement planned programs designed to protect the natural diversity of native flora and fauna within the Watershed boundaries.
