Field Technician

Job Duties: • Control noxious weeds through careful, precise application of herbicides using backpack sprayers, hand and power tools • Load, organize, maintain and deliver plants, equipment and tools to project sites • Maintain native tree and shrub plantings using hand and power tools(weed whackers) • Plant dibble tube trees and shrubs using O’o, spades and planting auger • Lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. • Other general labor duties as requested Qualifications: • Experience 1-2 years in the listed job duties; • Ability to safely conduct fieldwork for long hours, in rough terrain and sometimes inclement weather conditions; • Ability to hike approximately 6-8 hours per day, on uneven terrain and carrying loads up to 50 lbs. • Ability to record complete and accurate data; • Experience adhering to established protocols • A valid driver’s license and transportation to the project site. • High School Diploma
