The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality (BECQ) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Watershed Coordinator. This position is responsible for watershed planning, identification and prevention of non-point sources of pollution, and implementation of watershed-focused projects within the CNMI (Saipan, Tinian and Rota). The Watershed Coordinator works both independently within the Water Quality/Nonpoint Source program and collaboratively with the planning, enforcement, education/outreach and permitting programs within BECQ, as well as with natural resource and infrastructure agencies and stakeholders within the CNMI and the Pacific region. This position is responsible for updating, implementing and creating watershed-based Conservation Action Plans and associated projects.
