Hawaiian Islands Land Trust (HILT) seeks a full-time Associate Executive Director (AEDA) of Advancement to be based on Oʻahu. HILT is a nationally accredited non-profit land trust with a mission to protect the lands in Hawaiʻi that will sustain us for current and future generations. The AEDA reports to the Executive Director and serves on HILT’s leadership team. The Executive Director and AEDA staff the Board of Director’s Fundraising Committee. The AEDA supervises HILT’s development department and Honolulu headquarters, and serves as a key external “face” of the organization with primary responsibility for development department function, strategic relationships, public advocacy, corporate and major gift fund development, as well as alignment with host culture values. Candidates must be ethical, hard-working and positive, effective communicators, passionate about land conservation, have applicable work experience and knowledge of Hawaiʻi and its cultures, and should have at least a Bachelor’s degree.
