Job Description:  The Conservation Department Program Operations Manager coordinates and oversees the implementation of projects, initiatives, and programs by managing logistics, budgets, and regulatory requirements; supporting grant applications and reporting; and facilitating contracts, cooperative agreements, and partner access. The position ensures contractors and partners meet performance standards, tracks progress toward project outcomes, and maintains effective communication across staff, partners, and agencies. The Operations Manager also supervises staff responsible for equipment, vehicles, procurement, billing, safety compliance, and other administrative systems, ensuring that departmental operations run efficiently and in alignment with organizational priorities.

 

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually (exempt)
