We are hiring a technician to work in the diagnostic lab for research and management of Rapid ‘Ōhi‘a Death. The technician will assist with lab and field studies on the biology of ROD and other forest pathogens. He or she will perform laboratory analyses for pathogens, including culturing the fungi and Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) analyses, will maintain fungal cultures, and will assist with greenhouse and nursery work.
