Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit (PCSU), in support of the Marine Wildlife Program (MWP), Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) located on the island of Maui. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws. A few key points to consider:
  • We are looking for people with real world, on the ground experience (academic training is secondary).  For example, on Kauai, two (2) years of additional work experience in environmental science, marine science, or with education and community programs may substitute for an Associate’s Degree.
  • The job is not 9a-5p. It's about being where you need to be when you need to be there.
  • The salaries that went out previously were incorrect.  The new descriptions (attached) reflect the appropriate, higher salaries.
