The primary duties of these positions are to participate in the control of feral animals (e.g. deer, goat, and pig) in the park. The work includes ungulate fence construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance at the Summit and Kipahulu districts of Haleakala National Park. The incumbent will help in the field in constructing and repairing fences, monitoring, locating, and apprehending animals.
