Climate Ready Hawaii VISTA Leader

Help the state’s Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Commission (Commission) operationalize its mission through the Climate Ready Hawaiʻi VISTA. The mission is to promote ambitious, climate-neutral, culturally responsive strategies for climate change adaptation and mitigation in a manner that is clean, equitable and resilient. The VISTA Leader will build the capacity and sustainability of the State’s VISTA program while providing support to up to 10 members during their service year. The VISTA Leader will serve as a facilitator, trainer, and mentor of VISTA members, enhancing their capabilities, the success of their individual projects, and impact of the state’s community resilience and climate change work overall. As a member of the Climate Ready Hawaiʻi cohort, and to facilitate peer to peer learning, the VISTA member will identify learning needs and coordinate ongoing professional development of the cohort.
