National Tropical Botanical Garden has an immediate Full Time opening for a Predator Control Technician based at Limahuli Garden and Preserve.

This position will be working on a team for a contract to protect endangered seabird populations and habitat in Upper Limahuli Preserve.  Job duties are focused primarily on removing invasive predatory animals and invasive plants.

The terrain is very steep and uneven.  Weather is variable between heavy rain and direct sun exposure.  Work is done in all conditions.  Worksite is a remote valley accessible by helicopter. Must be willing to participate in group field excursions up to a week long.

Must have relevant experience and be able to pass a field test and pre-employment drug screening.
