Position Summary
The Executive Director (ED) will combine a passion for our vision with the willingness to do what is necessary to complete everyday activities. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will have overall strategic and operational responsibility. The ED will develop and maintain successful programs, operations, marketing, community education/outreach and staffing and will develop business and fundraising plans for this growing organization.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Board Governance: Work with board in order to fulfill the organization mission.
Financial Performance: Develop resources sufficient to ensure the organization‘s financial health.
Mission and Strategy: Work with board and staff to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning and community outreach.
Operations: Ensure that the organization functions effectively.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt position that includes benefits and requires occasional regional and national travel as well as occasional evenings and/or weekends. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
