Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

Aloha,

Join us for our weekly service work day!

We're here every Saturday from 12-5pm. We remove invasive plant species and plant native ones, as well as general trail maintanence. We will give a breif tour of Nā Pōhaku, and talk about its history, cultural relevance, ecology, and the unique geology of the area. It's a great way to learn about Kailua as well as helping to restore the land.

'Ahahui Mālama i ka Lōkahi has been leading volunteer efforts with both perseverance and passion to create a unique ecological restoration project. Nā Pōhaku is a low-land forest located on Kapa'a Quarry road. We are right in the middle of the Ko'olau's and the ocean.
