Become part of Hawaii’s conservation story

We are looking for volunteers to support our little fire ant program. The work is not difficult and requires only the ability to sit or stand for a few hours. You will be cleaning plastic vials that we use for our surveys. It is easy work but it does require some attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and learn more about MISC and the plants and animals on Maui (particularly songbirds) while helping to stop the spread of the little fire ant on Maui.

Okay, full disclosure: the work itself is tedious BUT the people and location are unparalleled!

Join us Friday, June 14th, from 9am to noon.

Call Lissa at MISC: 573-6472 or email miscpr@hawaii.edu if you are interested in participating
