Leather Craft Camp

Grades 3-5: June 3-7, 8:30-4:00
Grades 6 and Up: July 1-5 (no camp July 4), 8:30-4:00
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Empower your child by enrolling them in this workshop that will help to build their self-confidence as they perpetuate the traditional art form of leathercrafting. They will also be inspired as they plan and execute their own projects from beginning to end under the guidance of a skilled artist. All materials are provided.

Clothing Industry Experience at Kulua for Grades 6-12

Session 1: Wednesday-Friday, June 5-7 and 12-14, noon – 4:00 pm
Session 2: Wednesday-Friday, June 19-21 and 26-28, noon – 4:00 pm
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Learn about sales, merchandising, customer service, job readiness, and entrepreneurship. Only one position available each session!

Life Skills & Creative Writing Camp I

Grades 3-5, June 10-14 (no camp June 11), 8:30-4:00
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Experience your child becoming more independent as they learn how to budget and shop for groceries, grow their own food, cook, and begin to find the pleasure, meaning, and fun in telling and listening to stories and becoming more comfortable with using language to express their ideas. Lunch is provided. Please bring snacks and a water bottle.

Life Skills & Creative Writing Camp II

Grades 6-8, June 17-21, 8:30-4:00
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Inspire your child to garden, budget, grocery shop, prepare meals, and clean while engaging in project-based learning and fun games and challenges. Your child will also grow a renewed appreciation for fiction’s ability to make sense of the world in a way social media and the news cannot, and they will gain techniques to help them approach future school reading assignments with enthusiasm rather than dread. Lunch is provided. Please bring snacks and a water bottle.

Math Tutoring Sessions

Grades K-6, June 10-July 26, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 or 11:30
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Schedule one-on-one math tutoring sessions to fit your schedule. Only $25 per one-hour session, with financial aid available.

One-hour sessions are available every weekday, June 10 through July 26, starting at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30, except holidays, June 11 and July 5.

Choose your preferred time and day of week for your first session, and number of sessions, and we will contact you to set up the exact dates and times.

Ocean Camp

Grades 6-12: June 24-28, 8:30-4:00
Grades K-5: July 1-5 (no camp July 4), 8:30-4:00
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Does your child love the ocean? Gift your child a memorable week of learning from an aquatic biologist about coral reefs, marine life, and the importance of conservation and sustainability. They will use calipers to measure, learn to tie different knots, and will enjoy a day out fishing. Please have your child wear sunscreen and a hat and bring extra clothes, a towel, snacks, lunch, and a water bottle.

Mural Art, Building, Music, and Creativity Camp

Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

July 1-5 (no 4), 8-12 and 15-19 (three weeks, no Saturday or Sunday)
Grades K-8: 8:30-4:00
Grades 9-12: 9:00-1:00

Would you like your child to take pride in something they created for years to come? Under the guidance of local artists, your child will transform our hale by helping to create a mural on our exterior wall. They will also use their creativity throughout the day while designing and building projects, playing musical instruments, and growing their own food, then celebrate the unveiling of their mural at our July 26th celebration. Please have your child wear sunscreen and bring a hat, snacks, lunch, and a water bottle.

Animal Camp

Grades K-5: July 22-26, 8:30-4:00
Cost: $100, Financial Aid Available

Your child will love learning about animals and enjoy hands-on activities in this camp that is aimed to educate them on how to care for animals and the importance animals play in our everyday lives. Please have your child wear sunscreen, shoes, and a hat, and bring snacks, lunch, and a water bottle.

Laser Cutting Internship

Mural Unveiling Celebration

All Ages July 26 5:00-7:00 P.M.
Cost: Free

Come celebrate our keiki-created mural and other creations from our summer youth! Help us name our new van, enjoy free entertainment, and eat some ono food.
