Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit (PCSU) located in Honolulu, Hawai‘i.  Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws. 


DUTIES:  Prepares fiscal documents for processing and follow-up actions. Prepares and processes travel requests and completions, including foreign travel.  Monitors bidding process, non-routine purchase orders, receiving procedures, sole source, etc.  Inputs/updates fiscal records and agreements on established database. Provides support to finance personnel by maintaining fiscal files and spreadsheets.    Assigns data entry and scanning to student assistants. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING:  Associate’s Degree from an accredited community college in Business or related field.  EXPERIENCE:  One to three (1-3) years of administrative office and clerical experience.  ABIL/KNOW/SKILLS:  Knowledge of preparing fiscal documents, processing travel and procurement actions.  Knowledge of common office practices including operation of standard office machines, personal computer and MS Office applications.  Ability to type 50 wpm accurately and follow operational procedures and general instructions.  Good oral and written communication skills. Post Offer/Employment Condition: Must be able to pass a post offer criminal background check. POLICY AND/OR REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:  As a condition of employment, employee will be subject to all applicable RCUH policies and procedures and, as applicable, subject to University of Hawai‘i's and/or business entity's policies and procedures.  Violation of RCUH's, UH's, or business entity's policies and/or procedures or applicable State or Federal laws and/or regulations may lead to disciplinary action (including, but not limited to possible termination of employment, personal fines, civil and/or criminal penalties, etc.). 

SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS:  Familiar with database applications.  Familiarity with UH, RCUH, UH Foundation policies and procedures.
